AC Milan keeps Royston Drenthe high on its shopping list. Earlier we knew that this summer Drenthe was on the verge of swapping the Real Madrid club for the Fiorentina. However, the transfer did not take place as it was canceled in the last moment because of the coach Manuel Pelligrini who always wanted Drenthe to be part of the Madrid squad.
Recently the headlines of sports news media said that this winter Drenthe will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu. One such report comes from Cadena Ser, a Spanish media channel. It says that Drenthe is the peripheral to Manuel Pellegrini’s plans this season at the Bernabeu.
There has been no such confirmed information announced from the AC Milan but Adriano Galliani, the vice-president, suggested that Milan would retrench in this winter transfer market. Though officially he said about the arrival of Beckham and Adiyiah, but leaked information says there may be more new faces.
Meanwhile, Juventus is also planning for Drenthe in this January transfer window time. Well, Drenthe’s price has fallen. He is having voices to be claimed at €6 million and see him playing in the Serie A. However, neither Juventus nor AC Milan have till now added any substance to this report.
Still not known which club will bid more for Drenthe. The betting world is also high on Premier League Bets for him. Let us hope better for Drenthe.
